Is There A UC Certificate SSL Trial Option?

There are a lot of different SSL/TLS products on the market today and knowing which Certificate Authority is the best to work with and which products are going to cause the lowest number of headaches for IT administrators is always important.

The good news is that there are many different ways to get a chance to work with a Certificate Authority (CA) and find out about the company before committing to an SSL certificate for a year, two years or perhaps even three.

Many people ask if there is a UC certificate trial option so they can experiment with the certificate and try it out on their Microsoft Exchange and Office Communications servers. Unfortunately, there is no such UC certificate trial, but Comodo offers two different answers that will allow you to test out our products and also check out our customer support and services.

A Free 90 Day Trial

While the free 90 day option is not with the UC certificate trial, it is with our Comodo SSL. This will allow you to secure one domain for 90 days completely free and without any obligation to then make a purchase.

We are confident that you will experience the ease of using the Comodo SSL certificate for free for these three months. During that time, you will enjoy the same 256 bit encryption and 2048 bit signature keys of all of our other SSL/TLS products.

With our free 90-day trial, we don't change the meaning of SSL and you will have full protection for your website with all of the features of our paid products that pertain directly to the cert. Of course, we don't provide the free PCI scan and-and web vulnerability scan for one year with the trial, but if you choose to add a one, two or three year protection with our SSL/TLS products, this will be part of the features we offer.

The free 90 day Comodo SSL will give you the opportunity to see how our knowledgebase and resources are there for your benefit. It will also allow you to take full advantage of our customer support and tech support services if you require any help or assistance.

30 Day Refund Period

As a type of UC certificate trial, we offer a full 30-day refund on our UCC as well as all of our other security products. If, for any reason, you are not fully satisfied you can simply notify us and we will provide a refund and revoke the certificate.

This does have to be completed within thirty days of issuance of the certificate. Our team will continue to work with you to correct any issues you may be experiencing until the time you request the refund.

We are confident in our products in general and in particular in our UCC. As one of just a few Certificate Authorities working with Microsoft to develop the product we have the experience and the expertise to provide the technical support you need and to assist in any complications or issues you may have.

Common Issues

Often with the UCC product, the issue is with a name not being added to the SAN field. With these certificates, it is possible to add up to 100 Fully Qualified Domain Names that can be domains or subdomains. Failing to add a SAN, particularly if used by an older device, can create an error.

We have a complete knowledgebase that allows you to search by issue or by topic. This will provide pinpoint, step by step instructions to correcting a problem or troubleshooting an error message.

There are instructions to help in generating the Certificate Signing Request in Microsoft Exchange and Office Communications servers as well as how to export and import when installing on multiple servers. We even have it sectioned into working with the Wizard or PowerShell and there are full instructions for all the common servers for both the generation of the Certificate Signing Request as well as installation of the certificate.

As the world's largest Trust Provider Comodo is a very customer service focused company. If you need assistance and support, we are here to help. Our tech professionals have years of experience and our sales team is geared towards ensuring you get the right security product for your needs.
